Lacquering System

The PAINTLINE systems use recyclable water-based UV lacquer that are particularly environmentally friendly. Special surface activation and brush cleaning stations optimize adhesion of the subsequent primer (base coat painting). For paint application, the component adapters are placed fully automatically on chain conveyors.

On an area of approx. 1 m², UV lamps dry the coating in two exposure steps of 6 sec. each. After coating, the system fixes the components back onto the product carrier and transports them to the next station. After metallizing the components, e.g. with stainless steel, chrome or titanium, aluminum, aluminum-copper alloys (a wide variety of gold shades can be realized), a final protective coating is applied. Clear UV varnishes, high gloss or matt, are often used for this purpose. Of course, colored protective coatings can also be used to give the component a colored metal effect. These design variants are being used more and more frequently to allow automotive and cosmetics customers to customize the color of their products.
