Dr. Changfeng Tu
Dr. Changfeng Tu, born in 1975, residing in Düsseldorf, studied law at the University of Bonn. In 2006, he obtained his Doctor of Laws (Dr. jur.) degree. After completing his legal clerkship in Bonn and passing the second state examination, he was admitted to the bar in 2006. From 2006 to 2019, he worked as a lawyer in, among other places, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and Shanghai at the law firms Linklaters and Hengeler Mueller (initially as an associate and later as a partner), focusing on M&A and cross-border investments. Before joining the Supervisory Board of the Company, Dr. Tu worked as a lawyer for SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG and the former major shareholder Roland Lacher. Since 2020, he has been working independently as a lawyer and investor. He advises, in particular, German and Chinese companies on investments in China and Europe.
Dr. Tu is not a member of any other statutory supervisory boards or comparable domestic or foreign boards of business enterprises within the meaning of Section 125 (1) sentence 5 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG). He is not a member of any management body of the major shareholder CNBM or any company affiliated with it, nor does he have any business relationship with CNBM or any affiliated company. He is therefore independent of CNBM within the meaning of recommendation C.9 of the GCGC.
Dr. Jutta Menninger
Dr. Jutta Menninger, born 1964 in Würzburg, Germany, business graduate, auditor and tax consultant, resident in Munich, was elected to the Supervisory Board of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG by the Annual General Meeting on July 25, 2024.
Dr. Menninger has been Managing Director and shareholder of DJM Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, Munich, since 2021.
She has held various management positions as Head of the Tax Department of the Brose Group, Managing Director and Managing Partner of WTS and DJM Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH. She holds a degree in business administration with a subsequent doctorate, is a tax consultant and auditor.
Dr. Menninger is qualified as a financial expert within the meaning of Section 100 (5) of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG), in particular due to her many years of experience as a partner at the global auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. Dr. Menninger is not a member of any other supervisory boards or comparable domestic or foreign supervisory bodies of commercial enterprises.
Frank P. Averdung
Mr. Frank P. Averdung, born in 1954 in Brühl, Germany, graduate engineer, resident in Feldkichen, was elected to the Supervisory Board of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG by the Annual General Meeting on May 21, 2025.
Mr. Averdung has held various management positions, including Managing Director and President of several Carl Zeiss SMT companies in Germany and the United States, CEO of SÜSS MicroTec AG and, most recently, CEO and a member of the Board of Oxford Photovoltaics Ltd., UK.
Mr. Averdung graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a degree in engineering. His professional activities have included key positions in mechanical engineering in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Averdung’s experience includes management roles in listed companies, start-ups and restructuring.
Mr. Averdung is currently a board member of Atlant3D, Copenhagen, and on the advisory board of the Kurtz Ersa Group, Wertheim.
Denan Chu
Born in July 1980 in China, Mr. Denan Chu is a highly skilled professional proficient in both English and Japanese languages. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Electronic Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in China.
Mr. Chu’s career has been distinguished by his significant roles in renowned organizations, underscoring his expertise and leadership abilities. Currently, he holds the positions of Board Secretary, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Triumph Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd. He also serves as a Board member and General Manager at China National United Equipment Group Corporation.
Throughout his professional journey, Denan Chu has garnered remarkable recognition for his outstanding contributions. He has been honored as an Outstanding Executive/Excellent Cadre at China National Building Materials Co., Ltd. (CNBM) and Triumph Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd. In addition, he has received acknowledgment as an Advanced Employee at Triumph Science & Technology Group Co., Ltd.
Mr. Chu’s career commenced as an R&D Engineer of Magnetic Recording Media at Showa Denko Electric Co., Ltd in Japan. He subsequently progressed to the role of Assistant Director of the Equipment Department at Mitsubishi Corporation (China) and eventually attained the position of Deputy General Manager at Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd.
